NATIVE AFFAIRS – SUMMER SERIES – Sunday January 17 at 5.30 PM
Maori Television’s Qantas-nominated current affairs show returns with the best stories from 2009. Tonight: Last year, Native Affairs was at the launch of "Beneath The Maori Moon" to speak to author Malcolm Mulholland, and rugby icon, Wayne Shelford. The episode that featured that story went on to win an award at the Maori Sports Awards.

KETE ARONUI – Tuesday January 19 at 9.30 PM
Art series which showcases talented New Zealand artists from a wide range of disciplines. Tonight: Tipene Ryan-Smith is an installation artist living in Raglan. His iwi affiliations lie in the south with Ngati Mamoe, Waitaha and Ngai Tahu. His distinctive signature style is to use found and recycled objects, resulting in beautifully eclectic work.

ITI POUNAMU – Tuesday January 19 at 10.00 PM
A series of New Zealand short films, news and interviews presented by Ainsley Gardiner and Tearepa Kahi. Tonight: ‘Rock’ with Brian Challis. Grieving the death of his father, a young boy withdraws into a fantasy world where his only friend is a pet rock.

WAKA AMA SPRINT NATIONALS – Thursday January 21 and Friday January 22 at 7.00 PM, Saturday January 23 at 11.00 AM
For fans of waka ama, the highlights from the 2010 club print championships, hosted by Nga Kaihoe o Aotearoa at Lake Karapiro. Thursday: Junior and Intermediate sprint and 1000m finals; Friday: Intermediate, Senior and Open sprint finals; Saturday: Senior and Open sprint, 1000m and 1500m finals.

BREAKERS NBL – Thursday January 21 at 8.30 PM
Get behind the NZ Breakers with free-to-air coverage of the Australian National Basketball League 2009-2010 season. Tonight: NZ Breakers v Adelaide 36ers at the North Shore Events Centre.

BRING IT ON - Friday January 22 at 8.30 PM
Auckland secondary schools battle it out on the dance floor to find the number one hip hop group in the city. Tonight: Three more schools are profiled, but they let their amazing dance moves do most of the talking.
