WARRANT OF FITNESS - Tuesday, Jan 8th at 8p.m.

The practical health and well-being show is back with more empowering and motivational personal stories as well as no-nonsense, hands-on health information from a distinctively Maori perspective. Tonight: Hine Haig kicks

PERU: THE ROYAL TOUR (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Tuesday, Jan 8th at 8:30p.m.
Peru is the only country on earth that can boast a 2,000 mile desert coastline, a mountain range with 10 peaks over 20,000 feet and the world’s largest tropical rainforest. Peter Greenberg is escorted through the country by Peru’s president, Alejandro Toledo (2001-2006).  

TAKU WAHINE PUROTU - Wednesday, Jan 9th at 8p.m.
Iconic female ancestors who achieved fame and immortality are celebrated in this new, six-part series about tribal wharepuni or meeting houses constructed by their descendents in their honour. Tonight: Hinerupe, north of Gisborne. 

EATING PORK‘N’PUHA WITH CHOPSTICKS (NZ DOCO) - Wednesday, Jan 9th at 8:30p.m.
The story of New Zealand’s unique Maori-Chinese community through the experiences of one Auckland family, following three generations of the Lee family – beginning in the market gardens of South Auckland in the 1920s.

BASSLINE - Friday, Jan 11th at 8:30p.m.
New Zealand’s modern-day musical movement is captured in action on stage in this new series showcasing the cream of contemporary local music. Presenters Te Awanui Reeder and Helen Crown allow viewers to get up close and personal with Kiwi artists – premiering with hip hop great Che Fu.

NATIONAL TOUCH SERIES - Sunday, Jan 13th at 3p.m.
Part two of a three-part sports special featuring exclusive coverage of the recent mixed touch nationals held in Upper Hutt – an annual tournament for New Zealand’s largest team sport.  

TE HAUKAINGA - Sunday, Jan 13th at 5p.m.
New, six-part series about the people who live within their tribal lands of the eastern Bay of Plenty – under the shadow of their mountains and surrounded by their rivers, lakes, forests and sea. Tonight: The village of Ruatahuna and the sacred Tuhoe mountain, Maungapohatu  

TROUBLED WATER (SUNDAY FEATURE) - Sunday, Jan 13th at 9p.m.
Two families establish homes in Dugit, a fishing village in the northern region of the Gaza Strip. But man, nature and environment are hostages – like pieces of a cynical chess game – in the hands of leaders, politicians and military men. Hebrew with English language subtitles.
