When Bernard’s wife walked out the same day his mother died, he replaced those lost relationships with food and alcohol. With a new love in his life, Bernard gets himself into gear and tries to turn his life around.   

ROME: THE LOST CITY OF CHINA (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Tuesday, Feb 19th at 8:30p.m.
The lost city of Li-jien in China is a settlement that experts believe was once occupied by Roman legionnaires more 2,000 years ago. This documentary investigates the mystery behind its present day residents and their link to the west.

E TU KAHIKATEA - Wednesday, Feb 20th at 8p.m.
Maori leaders who led, challenged, outraged and inspired share very personal stories never before made public. Tonight: Language aficionado Timoti Karetu reveals his joie de vivre, the deepest love and loss of his life and the truth behind the taniwha image. 

GANG KIDS (NZ DOCO) - Wednesday, Feb 20th at 8:30p.m.
Four young New Zealanders offer candid accounts of gang life from a child’s perspective – the good times, the hard times, party times, 21sts, going to school, dealing with other people’s fear of gangs and, in each case, how and why they chose a different lifestyle for themselves.

TA MOKO (NZ DOCO) - Thursday, Feb 21st at 8p.m.
Documentary exploring traditional Maori tattoo. This artform has journeyed from a life cycle – beginning as an adornment of pride and moving and evolving through to outlawed savage markings, insignia of gangs and reclamation of Maori identity. 

HYUNDAI CODE - Thursday, Feb 21st at 8:30p.m.

BASSLINE (NZ MUSIC) - Friday, Feb 22nd at 8:30p.m.
New Zealand’s modern-day musical movement is captured in action on stage – presented by Te Awanui Reeder and Helen Crown. Tonight: Two of New Zealand’s top MCs – David Dallas and PNC – perform in this hip hop double-header from the stables of Dirty Records.

LATE NIGHT LIPS (NZ MUSIC) - Saturday, Feb 23rd at 10:30p.m.
Premiere of a quirky late night music show – presented by Kimo Houltham and Kihi Ririnui – which utilises archival footage of some of New Zealand’s most outstanding and lesser known musicians.

KAI ORA (FOOD) - Sunday, Feb 24th at 7p.m.
Chef Ann Thorp wraps up the second series of her fantastic food show with Karl Urban and Peter Urlich – she’s cooking ‘party kai’ and invites all her mates over to complete the programme with an all-time classic Maori waiata! 

NGA AHUREI O TE RAUMATI - Sunday, Feb 24th at 8:30p.m.
The finale of the series featuring performances and personalities of New Zealand’s summer festivals. Tonight: Urban international arts festival AK07 showcases a new generation of Maori acting talent as well as top musicians performing alongside the best in the world.

MENDY: A QUESTION OF FAITH (SUNDAY FEATURE) - Sunday, Feb 24th at 9p.m.
Mendy is a young Brooklyn Hasid, a devout member of an ultra-orthodox Jewish sect whose life has been spent following the strict rules of his insular community. When his sexual urges push him into moral turmoil, he lives the old world in search of a new identity with two worldly friends.
