TATAI HONO - Monday, Mar 10th at 8p.m.

Maori cut off from their origins go on a voyage of self-discovery. Tonight: Anaru visits his marae before setting out on his journey to Te Tai Rawhiti hoping to find the whanau of his kuia. Taikaawa learns the tikanga of her name and her uncle Pakihana visits and meets her whanau in Manurewa

NATIVE AFFAIRS: SUMMER SERIES (CURRENT AFFAIRS) - Monday, Mar 10th at 8:30p.m.
The summer series finale. Tonight: Ngai Tahu addresses its language deficiencies; a panel to coincide with Maori Language Week; Maori customs and practices on the internet; Australian psychic Deb Webber; and Samoa mourns the loss of their leader.

SIDE ISLAM (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Monday, Mar 10th at 10p.m.
Tonight: The Mosque occupies an important position in Islam’s spirit but it is not only the place for Muslim prayer and religious action – it is also the meeting and resting place as well. Gain an appreciation of the heart of Muslim life: spiritually, architecturally and artistically.

WARRANT OF FITNESS (HEALTH) - Tuesday, Mar 11th at 8p.m.
Hands-on health information from a distinctively Maori perspective. Tonight: Waimihi Hotere (Te Aupouri, Ngati Maniapoto, Ngati Wai) is one of nearly 600,000 New Zealanders with asthma – and that’s equivalent to the entire Maori population in New Zealand.

VANUA-TAI OF LAND AND SEA (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Tuesday, Mar 11th at 8:30p.m.
Looks at the protection and conservation of the sea turtle from the perspective of the people of the islands of Vanuatu. In 1995, the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme began the Year of the Turtle Campaign. (Bislama – subtitled in English)

E TU KAHIKATEA - Wednesday, Mar 12th at 8:30p.m.
Personal stories of Maori leaders who have challenged and inspired. Tonight: Selwyn Muru can hear a tune once and play it on any instrument, including a grand piano. (Maori language with English language subtitles)

KANI CREW (NZ DOCUMENTARY) - Wednesday, Mar 12th at 8:30p.m.
Follows the tamariki hip hop dance group Kani Krew to the World Hip Hop Competitions in Los Angeles, USA. 

BASSLINE (NZ MUSIC) - Friday, Mar 14th at 8:30p.m.
New Zealand’s modern-day musical movement is captured in action on stage – presented by Te Awanui Reeder and Helen Crown. Tonight: The Black Seeds – live and exclusive on the Auckland leg of their national tour. Not only do their albums sell but they are renowned for their live gigs.

BENEATH CLOUDS (SUNDAY FEATURE) - Sunday, Mar 16th at 9p.m.
The story of Lena, the light-skinned daughter of an Aboriginal mother and Irish father, and Vaughn, a Murri boy doing prison time. When dramatic events throw them together on a journey with no money and no transport, they experience brief happiness together.
