MADE IN TAIWAN – NATHAN AND OSCAR’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE (NZ DOCO) – WEDNESDAY AUGUST 8 AT 8.30 PM - Wednesday, Aug 8th at 9:30p.m.
A simple DNA test leads Nathan and Oscar to replicate the journey taken by their ancestors in reverse – beginning with the Cook Islands and Samoa, then Vanuatu and ending eventually in Taiwan. There they are amazed by what they discover.

SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS - Thursday, Aug 9th at 8p.m.
The final chapter in this fly-on-the-changing-room-wall show that follows the progress of three young Maori athletes at New Zealand’s toughest sports academy – Murray Mexted’s high-performance players’ course at the Sport and Rugby Institute.

NZ RUGBY LEAGUE NATIONAL PREMIERSHIP - Saturday, Aug 11th at 2p.m.
It’s round 17 – the second-to-last before the semi-finals – with the Auckland Lions taking on the Waitakere Rangers in Saturday’s live English-language coverage followed by the Counties Manukau Jetz versus the Tamaki Titans in Sunday’s delayed reo Maori commentary. 

KIWI MAARA - Sunday, Aug 12th at 5:30p.m.
The team are back to share their gardening knowledge and know-how – the only trilingual show on New Zealand television simultaneously translating the Maori and English of the three other presenters into New Zealand sign language. 

THE NAVIGATOR (SUNDAY FEATURE) - Sunday, Aug 12th at 9p.m.
Kiwi filmmaker Vincent Ward spent four years making this 1988 movie. A visually stunning fantasy about a group of men from plague-ridden, medieval England who tunnel through the earth – and time – into 20th century NZ in an attempt to save their village.
