TATAI HONO - Monday, Apr 7th at 8p.m.
Maori cut off from their origins go on a voyage of self-discovery. Tonight: Ron Hau Poti (Ngapuhi, Irish) – who was adopted when he was young – goes in search of his whakapapa. Meanwhile, Hailee Kareko returns to her papakainga, Mangaiti Marae, in Kaeo.  

INSIDE ISLAM (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Monday, Apr 7th at 8p.m.
Tonight: Islam propagation in Africa. Islam is well established in Africa – its land, culture and lifestyle. In Mali, there is an Islamic temple made of clay which requires an enormous amount of work to maintain so once a year they hold the colourful and chaotic ‘Plastering Festival’

BROMASTERS - Monday, Apr 7th at 10p.m.
Welcome to the ‘House of Hori Improvisation’! Bromasters Te Hamua Nikora and Brent Mio tag team their skills and talents in a new entertainment series presented by gamemaster Lanita Ririnui-Ryan. Each ‘Bro Team’ features regular sidekicks as well as special guests. 

KETE ARONUI (ARTS) - Tuesday, Apr 8th at 8p.m.
The fabulous art series that showcases talented New Zealanders from a wide range of disciplines returns for a sixth series. Tonight: The musical world of Tiki Taane, formerly of Salmonella Dub, who is considered one of this country’s top musicians.

THE LORD OF TUMUC-HUMUC (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Tuesday, Apr 8th at 8:30p.m.
This amazing scientific adventure takes the viewer to the heart of one of the most incredible and fascinating Amazonian legends. The Tumuc Humac region was once the home of Kailawa, a powerful warrior and shaman who gave birth to his own tribe: the Wayanas.  

THE WAHINE DISASTER (NZ DOCO) – - Wednesday, Apr 9th at 8:30p.m.
Maori Television screens this extraordinary documentary 40 years to the day that the Wahine set sail. Survivors and rescuers from the 1968 sinking of the inter-island ferry speak for the first time about one of the worst maritime disasters in New Zealand’s history.  

CAMERON’S BACK TO BUSINESS - Friday, Apr 11th at 8p.m.
Get ready to rumble! Live coverage of boxer Shane ‘Mountain Warrior’ Cameron’s fight against African American Jonathan Haggler. Cameron – who has a record of 20 fights for 19 wins and 1 loss with 17 coming by way of a knockout – will take on tough 6’4” Jonathan Haggler in Auckland.

THE MAORI MERCHANT OF VENICE (SATURDAY & SUNDAY FEATURE) - Saturday, Apr 12th at 9p.m.

 Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13 at 9.00 PM

 The opulent designs, costumes and dramatic music interweave Shakespearean elements with Maori arts in a rich, textured and very modern context, according to the creative vision of the director, the late Don Selwyn. (Maori language with English subtitles) 

NGA WAIATA O TE IWI - Sunday, Apr 13th at 8:30p.m.
This new series pays tribute to the ‘songs of the people’ by looking at some of the great Maori composers. Their names are not well known to many but the songs they wrote are.
