THUNDER IN GUYANA (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Tuesday, Aug 21st at 8p.m.
The remarkable tale of a young woman from Chicago who married Guyanese activist Cheddi Jagan and set off for the British colony to start a socialist revolution. In 1997, Janet Rosenberg-Jagan was elected president of Guyana – the first foreign-born and first woman to serve in the role.

FROM STREET TO SKY (NZ DOCO) - Wednesday, Aug 22nd at 8p.m.
The story of long-time reggae musician, committed Rastafarian and poet Tigilau Ness whose music and lyrics speak to the dispossessed, celebrates his deep faith in Jah and reminds us that poverty, oppression and deprivation are age-old and recurring problems in society. 

SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS ARE MUSLIM - Thursday, Aug 23rd at 8p.m.
Pio Terei discovers that many New Zealanders know little about the Muslim community and are quick to associate the religion with terrorists and the subjugation of women – but how accurate are these preconceptions? He meets several local Muslim men and women to find out what they think.
