SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS ARE OLD - Thursday, Aug 23rd at 8p.m.
This light-hearted documentary series into stereotypes and prejudices asks how old is old, and how do we classify someone as old. Host Pio Terei meets a few New Zealanders who are aged over 70 but don’t fit some of our definitions of ‘old’.

A group of indigenous Canadians make an extraordinary journey to a remote corner of Papua New Guinea. They were invited by the Maisin, a tribe of about 2,000 people living as their ancestors did at the edge of the rainforest.

Join George Henare, Annie Whittle, Vanessa Rare and Geoff Dolan for a final feast of laughs in this multicultural sitcom. The Spalding and Rata whanau gather for the last time for food, family and funny moments.

The community renovation and landscaping show rewards more deserving iwi with a much-needed makeover. Tonight: The DIY team puts in a new carpark and overhauls the entire marae atea at Waipapa Marae in Kawhia.

WAKA HUIA (LANGUAGE) - Wednesday, Aug 29th at 9:30p.m.
The archival documentary series – in Maori with English subtitles – returns to Maori Television. Tonight: The first of a two part story on Auckland tribe, Ngati Whatua o Orakei, who – following land confiscation – now only inhabit some 700 acres of land at Bastion Point.
